Before you begin measuring.. Stand your dog squarely with their head up and looking forward when you are measuring. Your measurements will not be accurate if your dog is sitting or lying down when being measured. Use a soft tape when measuring, allowing the tape to follow the natural contours of your dog. Do NOT pull tape tightly.
Measurements
1.Collar Measured at the place where your dog's collar would naturally rest (Adjust measuring tape so that you can easily place two fingers under the measuring tape)
2.Chest Width (Girth) The widest part of the chest right behind the front legs (Adjust measuring tape so that you can easily place two fingers under the measuring tape)
3. Chest Length Between the front legs and ends where the stomach sinks in
4.Front Width Across the chest between the armpits
5.Back Length Measured from the base of the neck (where the collar would sit) to the base of the tail along your dog's back bone.
NOTE: Please provide a photo of your pet, additional measurements may be required.
